WHAT IS HYROX?
About the Race
HYROX is a unique fitness competition that combines running and functional workout stations, challenging participants with a blend of endurance and strength. The race format involves an alternating sequence of a 1km run followed by a functional workout station, repeated eight times. Hosted indoors in expansive exhibition halls, HYROX delivers an electrifying atmosphere where spectators can cheer you on from start to finish.

The Divisions
HYROX is truly a race for all fitness levels, designed to challenge both elite athletes and everyday fitness enthusiasts alike. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to fitness racing, HYROX offers a variety of divisions to suit your goals, abilities, and training preferences.
If you’re ready to push yourself to the limit, you can take on HYROX individually by competing in the Open or Pro categories. The Open division is perfect for those looking to test their fitness and endurance in a supportive yet competitive environment, while the Pro division is tailored for those seeking to take on heavier weights and more intense challenges, pushing performance to the next level.
Prefer to share the experience? The Doubles division allows you to race alongside a partner, making the event both challenging and fun, as you split the workout stations between the two of you. This is a great option for couples, training partners, or friends looking to conquer HYROX as a team.
For those who thrive on teamwork, the Team Relay category is an ideal choice. In this format, the race is split across four teammates, with each person taking on two workout stations and two running segments. This category encourages collaboration and strategy, making it a perfect fit for gyms, sports teams, or groups of friends wanting to experience HYROX together.

The Race Format
The HYROX race consists of eight workout stations, with a 1km run before each station. Here’s the full breakdown of the movements you’ll face on race day:
- 1000m SkiErg
- 50m Sled Push
- 50m Sled Pull
- 80m Burpee Broad Jumps
- 1000m Rowing
- 200m Farmers Carry
- 100 Sandbag Lunges
- 75 or 100 Wall Balls
